Job Training & Work Experience

In collaboration with the workforce development centers, we encourage our youth to enhance their skills and knowledge while preparing them for the competitive job market. We promote job readiness and employment skills training, allowing our youth to role-play and practice interviewing for jobs with success. Upon completion of training our youth are place in various work environments to gain paid internships and work experience.

Our goal is to provide our youth with opportunities that compliment their areas of interest and skills. We welcome other non-profits, small businesses and corporations that are willing and able to provide work experience opportunities for our youth.

Paid internships and summer employment opportunities are available to our youth through the following organizations:

• Hollywood Worksource
• Los Angeles Unified School District
• Los Angeles Urban League
• South Bay Center for Community Development
• South Bay Workforce Investment Board
• South East Los Angeles Worksource Crenshaw
• Watt  Labor Community Action Center
